What were the motivations of both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to launch a number of remarkable interfaith initiatives ?

Rabbi David Rosen was the first Jewish collaborator in the establishment and operation of the Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Center for Interreligious Dialogue and met with two kings of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom’s religious leadership in the process. He is also the first official Jewish Advisor to the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi – a unique campus that contains three active houses of worship – a mosque, church and synagogue. The presentation will describe the history, character, and modus operandi of these centers, as well as some of the ongoing challenges.
