Join the American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists (AAJLJ) for our 2025 Pursuit of Justice Awards Dinner — an inspiring evening celebrating jurists and advocates who embody the timeless principle: “Tzedek, tzedek tirdof – Justice, justice shall you pursue.”

This year, we are honored to recognize three extraordinary leaders whose commitment to truth and justice continues to inspire the legal community and beyond:

  • Ambassador Lee S. Wolosky
Partner, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP
  • Richard D. Heideman

The Pursuit of Justice Awards celebrate those whose professional achievements and moral courage reflect the highest ideals of the law and of Jewish tradition — integrity, compassion, and the defense of human dignity.

SPECIAL SHOWING

The highly acclaimed ABA-German Federal Bar exhibit, “Lawyers Without Rights: Jewish Lawyers Under the Third Reich,” will be on display at the POJ Awards dinner. The traveling exhibit of two dozen panels focuses on the rule of law and how one government starting in 1933 – the Third Reich in Germany – systematically undermined fair and just law that led to the purge of all Jewish lawyers and jurists from the legal profession by 1938. The story of the fate of Jewish lawyers in Germany is more than a historical footnote; it is a wake-up call that a system of justice free of improper political considerations remains fragile and should never be taken for granted.
