October 7 in American Courts: Holding Hamas's Aiders and Abettors Accountable
June 25, 2025

Please join us on June 25, 2025, at Noon ET, as featured speaker Michael Radine discusses two lawsuits a coalition of law firms (Osen LLC, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, Stein Mitchell Beato & Missner LLP, and Jenner & Block LLP) are bringing to hold those who financed and supported Hamas's October 7 massacres accountable to Hamas's victims.

The first suit is Shalom v. Masri, which alleges that American-Palestinian billionaire Bashar Masri and companies he controls knowingly assisted Hamas for years--including permitting Hamas to build and maintain attack tunnels under their Gaza properties. The second is Weiser v. Iran, a case against Iran, Syria, Hamas, and others, which revealed never-before-seen documents the IDF recovered from Gaza laying out Iran's support for Yahya Sinwar's "Big Project."

Michael Radine, a partner at Osen LLC, joined that firm in 2016, after working for several years as a litigator at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Davis & Gilbert LLP. Mr. Radine focuses on the firm’s counter-terrorism cases in federal trial and appellate courts. He has argued before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Second Circuit and D.C. Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the Court of Appeals of New York, the state’s highest court.

Mr. Radine graduated from Columbia University School of Law in 2009. At Columbia, he was a Teaching Fellow and Managing Editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. While at Columbia Law, he also received the Parker School Recognition of Achievement in International and Comparative Law. Mr. Radine holds a master’s degree in international relations from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis, summa cum laude. Mr. Radine is the co-editor of and contributor to the book Soft Law in International Arbitration (Juris, 2014, 2024), now in its second edition.
