On January 31, a federal lawsuit was filed charging that the Hamas-led massacre in Israel on Oct. 7, which killed 1,200 people and injured thousands more, was masterminded and funded by the Islamic Republic of Iran. Two of the attorneys bringing the lawsuit with the goal to vindicate the plaintiffs’ rights and to hold the government of Iran accountable, will speak about the case and the United States laws that provide recourse against terrorism. The presentation will also touch on other ways in which U.S. lawyers have been mobilizing to help American victims of the Hamas attack.
